Jay, a teenage mindreader, and his best friend Carter are the only hope to save their town from the malevolent supernatural forces brewing in the old, abandoned factory on Ninth Street.

When Jay moved to Sycamore Falls at the beginning of his senior year of high school, he was expecting adjusting to a new school and living in damn near the middle of nowhere to be difficult. What he wasn't expecting was to suddenly develop the ability to read the minds of the other students.

As if knowing everyone's darkest thoughts wasn't bad enough, things get worse when Jay finds a group of his classmates - seemingly brainwashed - taking part in a strange ritual within an abandoned factory at the edge of town. Jay and his only friend Carter investigate, soon discovering sinister secrets about Sycamore Falls that might have been best kept sealed away forever.
